Who we are
Living history with an emphasis on authenticity.
The 304 Panzergrenadier Living History Group is dedicated to researching and portraying the experience of a German Panzergrenadier unit during the later stages of the Normandy campaign in 1944.
Our aim is to create historically informed impressions through period equipment, uniforms, fieldcraft, research and respectful interpretation. We approach the period as living history: learning from primary and secondary sources while presenting the material in an educational context.

Our impression focuses on the late-war period in Normandy and the men, equipment and conditions associated with the 2nd Panzer Division.
We use historical research to inform our impressions and continually refine our understanding of the unit, its organisation and its surroundings during the campaign.
